If we could give our modern age a name, it might be called, “The Age of Hurry.” A hundred years ago, no one could have imagined the pace of life today. Commerce and communication can happen instantaneously around the world.

And when you look at your task list, you have messages to answer, deadlines to meet, material to write. It all feels like it needs to be done right now.

Like everyone else, you have a busy schedule. But trying to go faster won’t help. Instead, you need perspective. You need calm. You need to breathe.

Here in this moment, stop what you’re doing and breathe. Just breathe.

Relax. Everything is going to be okay. Let your mind settle and focus on what’s right in front of you.

Breathe. In and out. Do it ten times slowly. Then repeat two more rounds.

We get it, you have a million things to do. But rushing and hurrying won’t make you better. It will make you sloppy.

Breathe deeply. It is honestly one of the best things you can do for your mindset, productivity, and all-around wellness.
